Ensure that the sealing ring is undamaged and properly seated in the groove. Twist the pool lights until they can no longer be turned to achieve full waterproofing before submerging them underwater. Thoroughly dry the pool lights before replacing the batteries, as any water inside the battery case can damage the components and affect the lights' functionality.
